Privacy Policy

This page covers one thing that matters more here than on most sites: your drawing is your intellectual property, and this explains exactly where it goes.

What we collect

  • What you type into the RFQ or registration form: name, work email, company, country, and the description of the structure.
  • Files you attach: drawings, STEP models, PDFs, capability documents.
  • Nothing else. There is no account, no login and no profile.

Why we collect it and on what basis

To do the thing you asked for: read your enquiry and find fabricators who can quote it. The lawful basis is the steps you asked us to take before entering a contract. We do not use your details for anything you did not ask for, and we do not sell them.

Who sees your drawing

  • Us, when we read the enquiry.
  • Up to 3 fabricators we match it to, and only after you tick the consent box.
  • Nobody else. We do not publish enquiries, list them, or share them with a directory.

If you tick the NDA box on the RFQ form, we sign a non-disclosure agreement with you before your files are shown to any fabricator. Ask for your own template and we will work from it.

Third parties involved

  • FormSubmit processes the form submission and forwards it to our inbox, including your attachments.
  • Cloudflare hosts and serves this site and handles the request logs any web host keeps.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics run only once a container has been installed. See the cookies section below for the current state.

How long we keep it

RFQs and the files attached to them are kept for 12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Fabricator registrations are kept while the shop is in the network and for twelve months after it leaves.

Your rights

Ask for a copy of what we hold on you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will do it. Deletion includes the drawing files. Write to sales at cncmachinebase.com and say what you want; there is no form to fill in.
